Portsmouth Harbour Marathon 22nd December 2013 Number Nine

My first time at the Portsmouth Harbour, this is an out and back around the Harbour and after two miles you drop into the cobbled beach to get your feet wet from the start, being in winter it is also a cold marathon so Jacket and gloves for the first time for me. 

This was just Paul Allen and I for this one and I had a stinking cold and felt like shit, however the 23 mile aid station has Brandy, Rum and a few more drinks that perked me up for the windy return to the Pyramids in Southsea. So in my first year running Marathons I managed nine but was then booking next years up already.
