The NDVM 3rd May 2013 Number Two

Four weeks later and my second Marathon was at the North Dorset Village Marathon in Sturminster Newton. The plan was to try and get the GFA for London and Paul Allen was going to pace me round. The NDVM is a great local marathon around the village along country lanes and some great views.

The Race went well and the first 23 miles were all under 8 mins with the first a sub 7.

I started to slow on the last few miles with 2 miles just over 8 and the last mile 7:48. 

I forgot the plaster on my nipples and you can see the result in the phots.

It was my fastest time for a Marathon and I came in at 3:17:12 with even better news that the GFA had gone up to sup 3:20, London was on in 2014.
