Dartmoor Discovery Ultra 7th June 2014 Number Sixteen

My first Dartmoor Discovery which just happens to be the longest road ultra in the UK. 32 odd miles from Princetown to Ashburton and back, very hilly and hard work but one of the best organised races out there. I went down on the Friday and camped outside the Plume and Feathers where there was a pasta party that night with the race on the Saturday. Full English Saturday morning and off to the start. It was a wet start but just right for running but soon got hot. 

Was planning to do a sub 5 hour but wasn't to be and came in 5:06:35 but happy with that. Free massage after with cake and tea you are so well looked after. Shower then on it for the disco that night. Great event and well done the the Trotters.
