Taunton 6th April 2013 Number One

My first was on the 6th April in Taunton, I was trying to get a Good for Age for London that at the time was sub 3:15. I started off with a good pace of sub 7:30 for the first 5 miles and then hit the 7:40's but did manage to get the first 19 miles all under 8 mins.  Then it was 5 miles at sub 8:30 with my slowest mile at 8:41 but did manage to get the last 2 miles at 7:45 crossing the line at 3:21:30.

Not bad for my first marathon.
